Time for a new game!

How many new words can you make out of The Monuments Men Murders? List as many as you can! Or better yet... can you make a new title/sentence out of it? You don't need to use all the letters!

surrounds
huntress
murderees
totes
thermometers
resentment
deterrent
endorsees
murderous
murderess
murderees

'Mud on the Red Tent' anyways."

I think we can make an exception with a cool title like that! :-D I'd love to read it. Could it be a shifter story?

Ha! I love your "Monet's tenuous moment on the run". Goes well with the theme of the series, too. :-)

So, who wants reindeer pizza?

message 109: by Haldis (new) - rated it 5 stars

Haldis | 1288 comments I'm going with "mummers" and leaving it there.
Coffee, where is the coffee?
And definitely pineapple on my pizza.

Johanna | 18130 comments Mod
Here're the vegetarian ones. Help yourself!

Johanna | 18130 comments Mod
Oh sure, we do have other options too. Don't have to eat Rudolf if you don't want to...

Johanna | 18130 comments Mod
:-D

SamSpayedPI | 596 comments Mermen muted nun's mothers?

Tern hummed summer sonnet?

I'm not very good at this.

And ick, no pineapple! Just a plain cheese pizza for me.

It's time for our final game before we'll announce winners tomorrow. Jigsaw puzzle, anyone?

In The Monuments Men Murders Jason is solving the mystery of a lost Vermeer painting known as 'A Gentleman Washing His Hands in a Perspectival Room with Figures, Artful and Rare'. Here's a jigsaw puzzle of Vermeer's other missing painting, The Concert, which was stolen 1990. Enjoy! https://www.jigsawplanet.com/?rc=play...

Hint: When you go to the puzzle page, if you want you can edit the settings on the puzzle to rotate the pieces, make more or less pieces, see a copy of the pic, etc. Click on "play as" near the top of the puzzle screen or look for the icons at the bottom left of the puzzle screen.

If you want, let us know how much time did it take for you to solve the puzzle.

For the famous work of art, I got the fountain, which made me laugh a lot:

You got: The Fountain, by Marcel Duchamp

You're either mind-blowingly lazy or the greatest genius the world has even known. Either way, the fact that nobody can figure you out gives you a considerable amount of power. Wield it well.

MWUAHAHAHAHA!

And I got 60% on the artist-work of art matching game. Some I guessed on and got them right, but then some I should have known I got wrong too.

And I got 9/15 picking the yard sale vs. $$$$ paintings.

Didn't even attempt the art history one! MWUAHA!

11:57 on the puzzle for me. And I'm not going to even attempt the letter scramble puzzle. I think there's already a champion for that one. ;)

I guess if I'm elegant, then I have to drink something sophisticated, right?

*Grabs the bottle of Scotch and swigs* Ahhh. Needs some ice.

Lovely, restless, thoughtful and sweet. I don't think I've ever been described as sweet and I'm certainly not restless. Hopefully I'm thoughtful, and I have a customer who says I'm a lovely lady but he says that to all of us lol.
