The quote is by Alexander Chee in Maria Popova's book and the way she did this book the person who actually wrote the words needs to be credited as well.

Another question if you'll humor me...two quotes from Maria Popova's book are credited to the writer who wrote them and the book but without Maria Popova.

I couldn't see a way to do that though it seemed a really good way to do it since the book is a book of letters by people like Solnit.

The quotes should be credited to their original authors, not to Maria Popova.
