Hey guys! My name is Yasmine, I’m 19 years old ( I guess the youngest so far hihi xD). My favorite book is 1984 by Goerge Orwell, if you haven’t read it yet then what are you doing with your lives! I joined this a few years ago, it was one of my favorite places on earth...well... virtually x) but over the years it kindv died out and we lost it. Hopefully we can manage to bring it back to life!

message 14: by Mahdi H (new)

Mahdi H | 10 comments Nice to meet you everyone :)

Well, I am Mahdi. I am 29.
I like to read a variety of topics and have a habit of switching between history, politics, autobiographies and classics...

My favorite Algerian author is Mouloud Feraoun. My favorite non-Algerian author is Leo Tolstoy. “War and Peace” is my favorite novel, and probably the longest novel I read. What I love about it is the great mix of history lessons, philosophy, spiritual journeys of the characters and study of the human soul and condition.

I am here to discuss books, cultural matters and secretly to get motivated by you guys :)

I really enjoy the works of Dostoevsky, Kafka, Mishima, Khalil Gibran, Nobakov, and David Foster Wallace. I also enjoy reading non fiction to a less degree. I joined this group a while back, the reason is I guess self explanatory. Anyway, I really appreciate the initiative of making this group great again.

You mean "Genres" Mehdi? As Gender is the range of characteristics pertaining to, and differentiating between, masculinity and femininity.

Well, I can't decide what's my favorite book, I have a few in my "favorite" list, either because I find the book perfect or because I relate to one of the characters (check them !!).
Why I joined this group? I did when I first used goodreads (a year and a half ago) to get me motivated to read. I hope it will be lively here <3 <3

Angel (angelscanbebad) | 2 comments Hi everyone.
I'm Malak and I'm 18.
I mostly read dystopian novels, fantasy and mystery/thriller. I don't really like reading non fiction but I guess I haven't found THE book that makes me like this genre.
My favorite book is a real emotional rollercoaster. It's "Here lies Daniel Tate" by Cristin Terrill.
I joined this group cause I needed some friends that liked reading so we could discuss our love for books.

I am Rayane. I' 23 yo. Will graduate in 4 days*YEY*. I am a music, books, movies and chocolate lover. I love science and recently I became more interested in sociology and anthropology. I usually don't read fantasy books (except HP) and I have a friend who live on them and who's always urging me to read some. My plan is to give it a chance so I picked The night circus as I think I might like it and I will be starting it soon. My favorite book? I don't think I have met it yet but if I have to pick one from my read then it's a science book called life ascending by Nick Lane.
