Thank you Leila for the efforts you are doing to make this group alive again.
I will go next, my name is Hamza, 31 years old and I am not talkative at all xD.
I joined the group to keep myself motivated and discuss the books I read because I think that some of them need to be discussed for better understanding and benefits. P.S I read arabic & English books

Hello, Abdelouhabe! (Sorry if I spelled your name wrong)
Such an honor to have an author among us!
Such an honor to have an author among us!
Hey guys! My name is Yasmine, I’m 19 years old ( I guess the youngest so far hihi xD). My favorite book is 1984 by Goerge Orwell, if you haven’t read it yet then what are you doing with your lives! I joined this a few years ago, it was one of my favorite places on earth...well... virtually x) but over the years it kindv died out and we lost it. Hopefully we can manage to bring it back to life!
@ Yasmine, 1984 by Goerge Orwell on my list I read Animal Farm and I really like his writing style :)

Welcome Asma, we hope that you will find what you're looking for in this group, and you're welcome to start any discussion about any book you want!
@Abdelouahab, Fantasy, and horror are not really my things, but I will try to listen to them later. Good luck with your books, whish you all the best!

Thank you . Leila

Thank you.

Well, I am Mahdi. I am 29.
I like to read a variety of topics and have a habit of switching between history, politics, autobiographies and classics...
My favorite Algerian author is Mouloud Feraoun. My favorite non-Algerian author is Leo Tolstoy. “War and Peace” is my favorite novel, and probably the longest novel I read. What I love about it is the great mix of history lessons, philosophy, spiritual journeys of the characters and study of the human soul and condition.
I am here to discuss books, cultural matters and secretly to get motivated by you guys :)
Welcome Mahdi, in fact, I like to switch between books geners like you! War and peace, on my list I haven't read anything by Tolstoy yet!

My favorite books : well i generally read books in Arabic language but i try sometimes to read in Engilsh or French so my favorite are في قلبي انثى عبرية / شيفرة بلال / لانك الله /ملهمون
I joined the group to make new friend who share with me the passion of reading .
Hi Iman! We finally found the youngest member ( I assume) we welcome you with open arms and warm 💕
Hi Slimane, the group will be great again with you the members, and you you have a great collection of authors over there :)

Thank you Hamza.
Let me know when you start reading it, if time allows I will do a re-read it with you. His other short stories are also great.. I suggest the death of Evan Ilych or Hadji Murat..

You mean "Genres" Mehdi? As Gender is the range of characteristics pertaining to, and differentiating between, masculinity and femininity.

ow thank you Yasmine you're so nice

Well, I can't decide what's my favorite book, I have a few in my "favorite" list, either because I find the book perfect or because I relate to one of the characters (check them !!).
Why I joined this group? I did when I first used goodreads (a year and a half ago) to get me motivated to read. I hope it will be lively here <3 <3

My favorite genre is fantasy, and my favorite book is Six of crows.
Why I joined; simply because i'm Algerian and 'm a bookworm :))))

I'm Malak and I'm 18.
I mostly read dystopian novels, fantasy and mystery/thriller. I don't really like reading non fiction but I guess I haven't found THE book that makes me like this genre.
My favorite book is a real emotional rollercoaster. It's "Here lies Daniel Tate" by Cristin Terrill.
I joined this group cause I needed some friends that liked reading so we could discuss our love for books.

I'm an English teacher and my favourite books are Agatha Christie's And Then They Were None, Bram Stoker's Dracula, (all the books written by Jane Austen, and the Harry Potter saga.
I joined this group because being probably the only bookworm in my entourage makes me feel a bit left out at times, and did I mention that I read practically all the time!?? Yeah, i do, even at parties and weddings, if you can believe it hhhh
Sooo, a big HI to you guys (^_^)

Hello Mina. I know the feeling of being the only bookworm :'( so I'm glad there's something called "Goodreads" in this world <3
@ Mina, maybe you joined the group before me but still, Welcome here :) . I hope that you will find the entourage you're hoping for.
P.S: we could use a teacher here to help us with the english language and maybe teach us to analyze a book in a professional way

I am Rayane. I' 23 yo. Will graduate in 4 days*YEY*. I am a music, books, movies and chocolate lover. I love science and recently I became more interested in sociology and anthropology. I usually don't read fantasy books (except HP) and I have a friend who live on them and who's always urging me to read some. My plan is to give it a chance so I picked The night circus as I think I might like it and I will be starting it soon. My favorite book? I don't think I have met it yet but if I have to pick one from my read then it's a science book called life ascending by Nick Lane.
