Anthony I'm reading this book at the moment. Non-Christian author, quite interesting!

Rod Horncastle I'll look into it.

I do Mock Darwin on a daily basis!

Rod Horncastle Hows the book going Anthony?

My wife and I (and Son) just laughed heartily, and mockingly when we noticed Darwin's picture is on European money.

message 5: by Rod (new)

Rod Horncastle Are you a Darwin worshiper too Lee? That makes a great deal of sense.

message 6: by Lee (new)

Lee Harmon (DubiousDisciple) | 2112 comments Why would I worship Darwin? Or Einstein, or Newton?

Cay Hasselmann | 60 comments Rod, why would Lee worship Darwin. I personally find Evolution as something quite stupid as they first introduced the theory of the earth crusts expanding. After the geologist disproved that https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Expandi... they are now using the bible as evidence .

However Darwin made some other discoveries that are quite valid. Just because someone makes a mistake in one theory does not mean he is the Anti Christ.

Rod Horncastle Cay does that mean Lee is possibly NOT the anti-christ? I'm not convinced.

From my experience many people do worship Darwin. His message is an earthly salvation to atheists who desperately reject any mention of a possible intelligence of the universe. Even some religious people adore him and drool over his every word.

I'm proud of you Cay, you said: " I personally find Evolution as something quite stupid..."

Those are fighting words in many modern christian circles.

Cay Hasselmann | 60 comments I am just approaching this from science as I have an extensive knowledge on Rheology or the science liquid to solid flows from non Newtonian physics(quite important to engineering in some areas such as glass). However Darwin in 1834-5 was at least 150 years early.

However those that "preach" Darwin are often part of the non critical thinkers, as are many of the creationists. I favor creation, but in a strange way as I am not sure what was first created, certainly not the earth. I mean in the bible I see angels created before that, so I also quite often reject ideas of the creationist.

Cay Hasselmann | 60 comments Rod, Oh I am sure that Lee and you are very similar, just coming from another direction.

message 11: by Rod (new)
