Sure can :D

Thank goodness one of Lisa is good at coming up with names, I usually hear crickets when I have to think of one!
It isn't always easy!!
That's why I'm so glad that in some team challenges names are already given because they fit a certain theme.

I just started Fix Her Up which has a surprise S and is also surprisingly tagged as sports - but it has 400 pages exactly 😖
I am sooooo annoyed! Been pushing this book back for weeks because of the stupid page count but now I've decided to finally bite the bullet...

Now, for my next BOM....
Do I start This is How It Always Is to be up to date (sort of) with that one?
Or do I try and catch up with Dry since I'm already far behind on that one and most people most likely have already disappeared off the thread now?

Oh good! I was eyeing that one, not in the least because it has 100 pages less than my edition of "This is how it always is" haha.
I'll only get around to This is How It Always Is next week so you wouldn't be alone reading that late 😉
Great a we can all read that one behind schedule then. I won’t be able to read it until next week either when I’m (hopefully) relaxing in the sun in Fiji 😉👍
Perfect! :-) I'll keep that one for next week then.
And starting Dry this morning, I'm already sensing that I'm going to be reading this fairly quickly. Pulled me in right away!

Just a heads-up that I'll be out all day tomorrow when we get our new word. Just so you all know, I'm happy with whatever the team decides we're doing, and I'll choose what to read when I get back, or Thursday morning at the latest if it's too late to boot up the PC by the time we get back :)

Our genre is: Adventure
Countdown as per usual, ending times haven't changed :-)
Our word is: Beige
Our genre is: Adventure
Hmm, Adventure is not something I read very often... However, I'm currently reading A Boy and his Dog at the End of the World, it's got Adventure by 8 users, so I'll finish that next week.
It was surprisingly hard for me to find a few options for adventure - I'm trying not to reread books as I'm currently really focusing on bringing down my TBR so I don't really want to pick up HP... seven books keeping me from my goal is a bit much 😅But! I was successful after all!
Shadow Study - I character, possibly more
Five Children and It (52805 words) - E author
Haroun and the Sea of Stories (42869 words) - I flipped through this quickly and I'm pretty sure I already saw characters named something with B & I so this should work
I've got for adventure -
364 pgs kindleAdventure - 4 people
B - Kat Boleyn
E - Bevan Ellsworth
G - Paul Gibson
Oh and Dry is listed as adventure. So maybe I’ll take my time a little more with that (not hard at the moment. I’m mega busy this week!!)
Woohoo! I'll be diving straight into Mistress Of The Empire 860 pages, definitely E, probably more. Yes to adventure. (most epic/high fantasy falls under adventure, as does a lot of sci-fi, so absolutely the easiest read of all for me, lol)Utterly exhausted after day out, so curling up with my book and then snoozes! :)
If there's time, I'll probably follow it up with Prince of the Blood, which is another 400+, also adventure and has B & E & G characters, and probably more :)

It appears that this isn't actually tagged sports. Could you remove it from your post, so it wouldn't be confusing? Thanks!
