I usually just ask my mom or browse the library. I sometimes look up things similar to my most favorite books. I may put in "Books like Harry Potter" or "Greatest Young Adult Dystopian Fantasy Books". It usually takes me a long time to get into a series, but if I really like it, then I fly through it. Hopefully, you'll meet "The One" (Or series)
ask for recommendations or look for books whose cover and titles seems interesting and catch my attention ask my parents or friends for new books to read
I usually browse a shop or get recommendations on goodreads. Sometimes I go to youtube and fing a list (for example, Top 10 Fantasy Novels).
My Mum usually finds them for me. 😅 Or I kind of get dragged into the craze eg. Harry Potter. But I sometimes find them on the national book awards or on my goodreads recommendations.
I check my recommendations on good reads or I just grab a book from my library and check the blurb :D
I may get hated on for this but I am a re-reader XD But if I'm not up for a re-read then I'm pushing myself to try new things. (I started The Old Man and The Sea by Ernest Hemingway - I got so close to the end, gotta pick it up again one day!) OR I check reco's on Goodreads or head to the library.
I ask my Aunt (librarian) and sister for book suggestions, scroll through goodreads, and just read anything that looks interesting
Normally I just look around the realistic section or ask my sister for book suggestions. I also sometimes read my friend's books that she's reading and want to read the book myself.
