From Goodreads: Have you ever felt a surge of adrenaline after narrowly avoiding an accident? Salivated at the sight (or thought) of a sour lemon? Felt turned on just from hearing your partner's voice? If so, then you've experienced how dramatically the workings of your mind can affect your body...
I read this for 2019's Week 43: A book related to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) [fiction or nonfiction]. This was a very interesting read into the current, nascent, science of how much our thoughts/beliefs can affect our bodily health. A good read and interesting challenge to conventional thinking.
