Jenny and Scott chat books they've read and liked lately, from travelogues to medical/cultural miscommunication, from introvert tales to science fiction short stories that are really more about philosophy than anything else. You'll have to excuse them as they nerd out over journaling and planners for a while (and Jenny deleted half that conversation, so you don't even know!)

And just an FYI, I've gone about 8 weeks straight with an episode and my official schedule is every other week. So for the week of June 11, there will not be a Reading Envy episode!

Me too! I was podcasting with Scott several years before there was a Reading Envy podcast.

Yes! And I noticed that Chiang's first collection (which is sitting on my TBR pile........still) has a blue cover. Summer Reading Challange win!

I can't speak to the new collection but that first one is a stunner. I still remember the babel story...

Yes, very good so far. Heady stuff. The babel story was a brain bender. Looking forward to getting to the story the movie Arrival was based on.
