The Secret of Our Success: How Culture Is Driving Human Evolution, Domesticating Our Species, and Making Us Smarter by Joseph Henrich
Finished Space Opera, which was very much a love-it-or-hate-it book (me? I loved it!) and started Mary Robinette Kowal's The Calculating Stars.
Immortal Make, Hawthorne House book 3, finally came out, and I plowed through the whole thing on Kindle Unlimited. Worth the wait.
Aaron wrote: "Just finished The Priory of the Orange Tree which was disappointing and not as good as the reviews make it seem. So now hitting up The Blood Mirror"A lot of books are not as good as the reviews make them seem, unfortunately.
Tnkw01 wrote: "I've finished A Bad Spell in Yurt which was a good, old fashioned fantasy, and Akata Witch which was great. Now on to our BOM and finishing with Black Powder War..." I loved the whole Yurt series, one of the few fantasy novels I know where wizards and priests are actually friends. You might also like Count Scar as well.
Marc wrote: "Is the series never-ending or the challenge? The Yurt books top out at 6, so it definitely ends."
Challenge. ; )

I'm going back to the Sacred Throne series with The Queen of Crows. I guess the final book for that series doesn't come out until November either.
I also just started the Kane Chronicles. First book is The Red Pyramid.
