Heroine is a virgin, meets the hero (he is scottish and sucessful) who was adopted by a rich family. His stepsister is in love with him and breaks the couple up by lying to the heroine (after the hero had an accident i think). A few years later the hero finds out about the child and goes to court to get custody. There he discovers the reason the heroine left was because of his stepsisters deception (the heroine explains it crying) and he stops the trial. After that he seduces her again and happy end.
