The reason I'm nomination: This is my kind of horror, and this line intrigues me:
Except, things are already a little weird. The hostess is a serial-killer look-alike, the dream-stealing Nightmare Elf is lurking about, and the seventh member of the group is missing.

I nominate We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson and Bird Box by Josh Malerman because both sound horrifying.

I've heard some great things about Bird Box! And of course Shirley Jackson has a whole horror award named after her. Tough choice...
