LaTrica | 55 comments Just finished Chronicle of the Russian Tsars : The Reign-By-Reign Record of the Rulers of Imperial Russia and like it. It's obviously a quick shallow history so I'll look elsewhere for longer exploration of some of the time periods.

Currently reading ワンパンマン 26 未知 One Punch Man 26: Michi and it's still a lot of fun.

Jon Stenger | 1 comments I am currently reading Patricia Wants to Cuddle by Samantha Allen, The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemmingway, and The Repeat Room by Jesse Ball. I just finished The Old Man and the Sea by Hemmingway, and As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner. If you know any of these books and would like to talk about them, reach out. We can start a book together I guess or something.

Repeat Room by Jesse Ball is fire. I love everything I've read of his!

Riley Stueland (riley_stueland) I'm reading both Anna Karenina (Modern Library Classics) 1st (first) edition by Leo Tolstoy (I was trying to beat my friend who read it in a week, but that's a dead hope by now), and My Home Is Far Away by Dawn Powell (A short satire by a wonderful writer who my friends took to calling the Queen of England).

A strange combination, half well-known and a partway reference to Gilmore Girls.

Mohamed Ghoneim | 1 comments Currently reading a book that doesn't just whisper... it detonates truth.

Every page feels like a station —
a place I once passed through,
forgot...
but never truly left.

It’s strange how a single sentence can slap you awake —
as if the book is not ink on paper…
but a mirror held against your soul,
asking:
“Is this still you?”
Or have you left yourself behind somewhere along the way?

So yes — I’m reading something.
But more accurately...
I’m remembering who I was meant to be.

Deborah | 3 comments Just finished reading The Amalfi Curse. Absolutely loved it!!! The writing is so vivid that you would think that you are watching a well made movie as opposed to just reading the book. If you are interested/fascinated with scuba diving, treasure hunting, shipwreck exploration mixed in with local folk tales of special women with special abilities, you will love this book!!

Kristy Coble | 1 comments Just finished The Spotlight by Serena Mercer by Serena Mercer. Every time I think I figured out the killer, the book makes me doubt myself all over again one of the most unsettling thriller I have read in a while
