This is my first post, I hope I'm using it properly..:D

I'm looking for a book, I think it was a crime novel. I barely remember anything, except what I said in the title.
A group of strangers are somehow locked in a building at night. They don't know one another, but from their conversations during the night we find out that they are all connected. If I remember right, they all played a part in the death of a person somehow. Somebody locked them in on purpose. This is all I remember unfortunately..I don't even know how it ends a 100%, but I think they all get to go free..Nobody got murdered, it was more about teaching them a lesson..

I read it a long time ago, at least 10 years.

Any tips?

Thank you so much, but I don't think so..I don't think there was any murder, I think it was about the human mind, finding out and dealing with what they did...x

Unfortunately not...These people are in some kind of a building/office/store at night...I can't remember. I don't think any of them die. They have to figure out how they are connected. Only then they can leave. They start talking and slowly they figure out why they are there. I think a person died because of all of them and that's the connection.
