* Read a book which has an author whose name (first or last) begins with a letter 'S' (for Strength). (We will also accept an author with an initial which is 'S.' such as R.S. Grey.)
* Read a book which has a letter 'B' in the title or author's name (for Balancing).
* Read a book which does not have the letters 'O' and 'B' anywhere in the title, author's name, or series name (for avoiding 'OBstacles').
* Read a book which has the letter 'Y' in the title or authors name (for 'sYmbols')(Eg:You)
Mental -
* Read a book which has an 8 letter word in the title. (Eg: Northern Lights)
* Read a book which has at least 1 human face on the cover. (Must be able to see this clearly, faceless bodies will not count, anything without a forehead will not count.)
* Read a book which has 5 words in the title. (We will accept 'A', 'I', or a number as a word, but any words after a colon ':' will not count.) (Eg: I Want It That Way)
* Read a book which has a title in which no letter is repeated.
(Eg: 'Shiver' - 1*S, 1*H, 1*I, 1*V, 1*E, 1*R - would work as there is one of each letter,
'The Naturals' - 2*T, 1*H, 1*E, 1*N, 2*A, 1*U, 1*R, 1*L, 1*S - would not work as the T and A are both repeated.)
Skill -
* Read a book which has a skull on the cover (must be able to see it, a regular person won't count.)
* Read a book which has something green on the cover. (If you're not sure, try running the cover through TinEye Labs Color Extraction Lab here - https://labs.tineye.com/color/ )
* Read a book which has the letter 'X' in either the title or authors name (for 'deXterity'.)
* Read a book which has a word beginning with the letter 'W' in the title (for 'sWing') (Eg: What I Thought Was True)
Mystery -
* Read a book which is tagged 'Unique' (Please remember that books must be tagged at least twice to count, and that books which are illustrated, such as Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children will not count, even though it is on the list.)
* Read a book which is part of a trilogy. (Must be a full-length novel in the series, not a novella. Only series where there are 3 primary works will count, so for example The Lone City Series would count as a trilogy even though it has 4 novellas, as it has 3 primary works. If a series currently has 3 books, but more are due to be published, then we will not count it as a trilogy.)
* Read a book which has the letters 'S', 'P', 'I', 'R', 'A', and 'L' in the title or author's name. (Letters can appear in any order, and may be spread over the title and author's name, as long as they all appear at least once.)
* Read a book which has the letters 'R', 'E', 'A', 'C', and 'H' in the title or author's name. (Letters can appear in any order, and may be spread over the title and author's name, as long as they all appear at least once.)

* Read a book which has an author whose name (first or last) begins with a letter 'A' (for Agility). (We will also accept an author with an initial which is A. such as Justin A. Reynolds.)
* Read a book which has the letters 'P', 'I', 'P', and 'E' in the title or author's name. (Letters can appear in any order, and may be spread over the title and author's name. Your chosen book should have all 4 letters though, including 2 P's.)
* Read a book tagged 'Physical' (Please remember that books must still meet the guidelines for this challenge in order to count. If a play, or an illustrated book, or a children's book is on this list, it will not count. Books must also be tagged at least twice to count.)
* Read a book which you have a physical copy of (i.e.: paperback, hardback, not ebook or audio.)
Mental -
* Read a book which has a number in the title (Eg: can be the number, or spelled out such as - The 5th Wave, or I Am Number Four)
* Read a book which has the name of a shape in the title (circle, square, triangle, rectangle, pentagon, star, or heart) (Eg: Circle of Shadows)
* Read a book which has a four-letter word in the title. (Eg: Dividing Eden)
* Read a book which has 'AM' or 'PM' in the title or author's name. (Letters must be together as 'am' or 'pm', not separated.) (Hint, the name Amy contains 'am', and the name Chapman contains 'pm'.)
Skill -
* Read a book with a title starting with the letter 'T' (for Turn) (Titles starting with 'The' are fine for this description.)
* Read a book which has a number repeated twice in its page count (eg: 339, 772, 144, 282 etc.) (It is fine to use one page count for this description, and a second page count to claim page points.)
* Read a book, which is written by an author, who you have already read a book by. (Eg: if you have read a book by Sarah J. Maas previously, then any books you read by her this month will fit this description. Please note that books must still be 200 pages long etc. If you do not have a book written by your chosen author, marked as 'read' on your profile, then your book will not count for this description.)
* Read a book digitally, ie: an ebook or audiobook. (Not a paperback or hardback.)
Mystery -
* Read a book with the word 'dark' in the title or author's name. (Letters must appear next to each other in order as 'dark', but can be part of another word such as 'darkly' or 'darkness' etc.)
* Read a book which has a similar page count to the last book you posted (page count must be within 15 pages of the page count for the last book you posted - this means you personally, not a teammate). (You may still use one page count to complete this description, and another to claim page points.)
* Read a book which has a telephone/mobile phone/cell phone on the cover. (Please check with us first if you are not sure if your book counts.)
* Read a book which has the word 'air' in the title or author's name. (Letters must appear next to each other in order as 'air', but can be part of another word such as 'fairy' or 'billionaire' etc.)

* Read a book tagged 'Sci-fi'. (The Sci-fi tag must appear in the top twenty tags for your chosen book.)

* Read a book which has a colour in the title or author's name - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet, scarlet, white, black, pink, grey - please check with us before reading if you would like to use a colour other than those listed. (Colours can be part of another word, for example, such as 'Redemption', or 'Meredith'.)
* Read a book which has exactly 384 pages. (Eg: Ruined, Changes in Latitudes, This is How it Happened, Everless) (You may use one page count to complete the description, and another to claim page points.)
* Read a book which has the letters 'G', 'R', 'I', and 'D' in the title or author's name. (Letters can appear in any order, and may be spread over the title and author's name, as long as all 4 appear at least once.)
Skill -
* Read a book which is part of a series, but isn't the first or last book. (We will only count books in a series which are a whole number in the series, ie - #3, #4 etc. We will not count books which are 0.5, 2.5 etc. So Pretty Little Liars would count as the first book in the series, even though there is a prequel labelled 0.5 - Ali's Pretty Little Lies)
* Read a book with at least 500 pages.
* Read a book which has the letters 'L', 'A', 'S', 'E', and 'R' in the title or authors name. (Letters can appear in any order, and may be spread over the title and author's name, as long as all 5 letters appear at least once.)

If you think that the average rating may change so that 3 does appear, then please ask me to check the average rating and make a note of it, before you read the book.)
Mystery -

* Read a book which has a musical instrument on the cover. (Please check with us before reading if you are not sure if your book counts.)
* Read a book which has an author whose name (first or last) which starts with the letter 'D' (for Dial). (We will also accept an author with an initial which is 'D.' such as Natalie D. Richards.)

If you think that the average rating may change so that 2 does not appear, then please ask me to check the average rating and make a note of it, before you read the book.)
