Thanks everyone for another great readathon weekend! Our result hasn't quite reached our goal, but it's still a BRILLIANT three days of reading!!

I'm really curious as to whether people felt they read more, less or about the same this readathon weekend compared to an average weekend??
Krystal wrote: "I'm really curious as to whether people felt they read more, less or about the same this readathon weekend compared to an average weekend??"hmm, i didn't have the time to spend reading this weekend so it was an average ish - maybe more than I would usually read on a busy weekend. I had half terms last week and read well over 1500 pages, probably more last weekend.
Krystal wrote: "I'm really curious as to whether people felt they read more, less or about the same this readathon weekend compared to an average weekend??"A lot less than normal. I was at sporting event and very social and too tired to read. Most of my reading this time around was by audio book on drive to and from the sporting venue.

Well done everyone! Looking forward to the next one 😊
Krystal wrote: "I'm really curious as to whether people felt they read more, less or about the same this readathon weekend compared to an average weekend??"I definitely read more this weekend than I usually do. I basically sat in my chair and read a couple of books from start to finish.

Your shelves sound so good, what a great idea.
I seem to read about the same every day but when there's a readathon on, my husband often spots me napping.. so now when I say there's a readathon coming up on the weekend he says "Oh, good. You can catch up on your sleep" 😂he thinks he's hilarious😂

I like the sound of your bookshelves too Suzanne. We're also in the process of renovating our bedroom - new built-in wardrobe, repairs to the decorative plaster ceiling, carpet and painting. We're also getting a new bed but can't have a full height bedhead because it will be under a stained glass window so we're also looking at getting a custom made bedhead and I do like the sound of a built in bookshelf!

I'll be sure to post some. Just looks silly without the bed, books, architraves etc!

I will post pics when it's all done. Good luck with yours, Carolyn. You have time for all these things now!
Well done us! Though I definitely had a lower word count that previously, and less than I would have liked. I was/am reading a non-fiction that is AMAZING, but not a fast read at all.
That's why I always choose quick easy reads for the readathon Deborah, plus it moves my challenges along nicely :)
It's cool to hear how everyone's experience varies! I'd love to just take the entire weekend off and read books back to back for three days.
Well done, all! I've had my beak in a book a lot this year so I've been a bit antisocial! Sorry! I'm now 25 books ahead of my 2019 goal so I will be back in contact with all my friends! See you soon! x

That's what I like to do on our readathon weekends (sometimes life gets in the way) but I find my eyes go blurry and I have to have a break from reading for awhile!!
