Same! I loved it so much I randomly started another book by the same author without even knowing what it was about. Bryony and Roses. It was a Beauty and the Beast retelling and fantastic!

Read Rules for Vanishing by Kate Alice Marshall on a whim (someone on twitter suggested it with so much enthusiasm!) and it was great! I love LOVED it. Great creepy adventure.

I am blazing through Meg Elison's Road to Nowhere series. Finished book 2 yesterday and immediately purchased the ebook of book 3 because I didn't want to wait for the paperback. More post-apocalyptic/spec fic than horror, but I LOVE IT

Almost done - it's a really good, genre-bending story. It's sort of horror, family drama, thriller and mystery all rolled into one.

I'm really loving Victoria Schwab's Cassidy Blake series. It's middle grade horror, lots of ghosts and so fun. I'm sending a copy of the first book to my niece in hopes of cultivating another horror fan!

Has anyone read follow me to ground by sue rainsford yet? I just finished it this weekend and it was one of those hauntingly creepy reads. Won’t lie, it’s not for everybody. But it was lovely in a poetic dreary way as it starts out innocently enough and gets more and more insane as it continues.

I finally read GEEK LOVE by Katherine Dunn and it was great! It was bizarre and engaging and I think I'll be thinking about this for the rest of my life. Like, one of those stories that pops up in your head every so often out of nowhere.

I just started Holly Rae Garcia’s Come Join the Murder, and I’m halfway through Joyce Carol Oates’ I Am No One You Know. Love that they are both dark fiction written by talented women!!
