Review:
This is a compilation of essays on parenting from 40 mom bloggers from the internet. I chose the book because I enjoyed the first one so very much. Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy this one nearly as much. There were some essays that I found very interesting but I couldn’t really get into this book like I did the first. It was a struggle to finish it.

How's everyone doing? I hope everyone had a great weekend. How are your Humor books coming along @Mary and @Alejandro? And how is your Free Space book coming along @Alejandro?
Next call is later today!

Review: Behind the scenes sneek peek into the authors medical practice and some aspects of the medical industry in the U.K. Very funny anecdotes through out the book make it interesting.
Some realities the author contends with are sobering and heart wrenching at times. Ejoyable read I would recommend. Diary entry format gave it a quick tempo. I hope to read more medical memoirs in the future.

Yes, let's hope the next gives us a 4 in a row instead!

This was just ok for me. I like Neil Gaiman and have read a couple of Pratchet books before. I found this one to be a bit to chaotic. The beginning was really good and I liked the concept a lot. But I kept totally losing track of what the hell was happening. There are so many characters and it jumps around a lot. The book is also trying way to hard to be super funny and witty every single second which was just too much. I still plan to give the TV show a shot and maybe I'll like this style in that format better.

Lot of airport and plane time yesterday= lots of reading time. :) Hope people are staying cool. I heard it was triple digit temps in DC of which I am happy enough to miss.

Review: Loved the start and the variety of types characters introduced. Reminded me a bit of The Stand and slightly trite at moments but still super interested in overall story and can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Review: Wolf shifters Dee-Ann Smith and Ulrich "Ric" Van Holz met when they were kids and Ric never forgot Dee-Ann. Now, years later, the run into each other again and Ric is determined to win Dee-Ann over. Their families hated each other, and Ric needs to convince Dee-Ann he's not a rich snob like the rest of his family. In the meantime, Dee-Ann gets involved in trying to dismantle a hybrid shifter fighting ring. This book was fun and exciting. Not the book's fault, but this is the first one I've read in this series so I was a bit lost with all the characters - I'm going to go back to book 1 to get the full experience!

I do recommend reading the series in order, Alejandro. But it's fun and entertaining!

Now that's almost funny. 😊 I've had a few weird print books before and I just had to shake my head.
This one was an ebook, and the fancy chapter numbers, enclosed in a black box, took over most of the first quarter of the page. Couldn't read first few lines/paragraphs.
Congratulations 10 More Minutes on completing your Humour/Satire.

Review: It's been ages since I've read a Sookie Stackhouse series book. It was like visiting with old friends, if you don't mind the vampire, fairy and were varieties. And some violence. And some laxness in morality here and there. It was enjoyable catching up with the doings in Bon Temps. I plan to read the 13th and final in the series.

Review: This is the heartbreaking story of Richard, a world class piano player and his battle with ALS. It was sad and touching. It especially touched my heart because I had a friend die of this horrible disease and thinking of him struggling this way just shatters my heart.

This was so much better than the last on even though I usually avoid books where a child dies like the plague. But I love this series and didn't want to skip one and be confused. I never really think of Canada as a political type place with their own version of the CIA. I don't know why because every country probably has one. Nifty little plot about spies and weapons of mass destruction aimed at New York hidden in the Canadian forest.
