Hi Fany, I'm afraid that I don't have any spaces on medium teams at the moment. Would you like to be added to the waiting list for a place? And you could join a fun team or as a solo player until a spot becomes available if you'd like? Let me know ☺

Hi, I would like to be placed in the waiting list, but I could join a fun team till there's another place (and it'll be fine in general to stay in a fun team even if there won't be a place in a medium one till the start).
Okay, I've added you to the medium waiting list, and I've also added you to Team Company Standards which is a fun team. Here are the threads you'll need ☺ -

Yea D: just putting it out there so people are more aware. Always ask if you want the sheet and aren't sure how to go about copying!
I doubt it was 'sabotage', more likely that someone tried to copy your spreadsheet and didn't do it properly :/

However, there's been at least one group/person who is editing my TEAM's spreadsheet. If you'd like to use my spreadsheet, I removed all our info and it's located here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
Please use File > Make a Copy to make your own copy for your team/self. If you encounter any bugs, let me know! Other than the random points assigned, it's entirely automated if you enter your name, book and page number.
Let me know if you have questions or suggestions for improvement. <3

I'm sure it wasn't intentional! But we didn't make our spreadsheet public, so it was a bit disheartening to come home to find all our work gone. <3 It's been restored, but just please be careful.

Thanks for sharing!!
Hi Beatrice, I'm afraid I don't have any spaces on medium teams at the moment. I'll add you to a fun team (Crystal Collectors), and then you can let me know if you'd like to be added to the waiting list for a place on a medium team?

If you need someone to fill in for medium, I'm willing to be switched there.

* Read a book which has a telephone/mobile phone/cell phone on the cover. (Please check with us first if you are not sure if your book counts.)
You mean '* Read a book which has a word beginning with the letter 'T' in the title (for 'Tool').'? 'The' would count for that one ☺

Yes, that's what I meant, thanks for the quick answer!

is it possible to read snow like ashes??
ash is nt there in the mentioned colours.

Hi Shan, I'm afraid we wouldn't classify 'ash' as a colour, so unless there is another edition with a different title which does have a colour in the title, then we wouldn't be able to count that book for that description ☹

Rachael wrote: "Can anyone tell me how to see what a book is "tagged" or what "lists" its on?"
Hi Rachael, if you go to a book's page on Goodreads and look on the right hand side of the page, you'll see that there is a heading 'Genres'. Under the heading there are a number of tags, and then a link to 'See top shelves...'. Click on 'See top shelves' and it will take you to another page which should look like this -

For descriptions which ask you for a specific tag, you may find it easier to find a book by looking at the shelf for that particular tag (these are linked in the main post), as a book can have many, many tags. (Tags are basically what shelves a book has been placed on. So if I made a shelf in 'my books' and called it 'pink snot', and then added the hunger games to that shelf, the hunger games would then be tagged 'pink snot'.)
For lists, if you go to a books goodreads page, scroll down the page (or search using 'ctrl+f' on a PC) and look for 'LISTS WITH THIS BOOK', click this, and it will take you to another page, where all the listopia lists that that book has been added to can be found (and there may be a lot of them), it should look something like this -

It should also tell you what number the book is on the list ☺
I hope that helps, let me know if you need anything else ☺

Hi Marie, I will have a look at the book tomorrow as I have a kindle copy I think, but in general if a book has an illustrator listed, then we count it as illustrated, so in all likelihood that one wouldn't count for completing descriptions, just for page points ☹

no problem;)
Correct, you'd get page points +/- buddy read points, but it wouldn't count for completing a description x

Marie, I've tried to look at this one but my kindle app keeps crashing, and it won't load on the kindle cloud reader either. I did look at some pictures on amazon, but there were some full page pictures, and the blurb mentions that there are full page pictures too -
"This collection of six stories includes three brand-new tales, all of them lavishly illustrated with art that changes with each turn of the page, culminating in six stunning full-spread illustrations as rich in detail as the stories themselves. "
so we would have to count this one as illustrated unfortunately, so you wouldn't be able to complete a description using it ☹

Aw, that's too bad. Thanks for checking, though!
Hi,
*It doesn't matter if you own it, as long as it's a physical copy, so if you've borrowed a copy from the library or something, that's fine.
*You can only use one book to complete one description, no matter how many descriptions it might fit. So to complete 16 descriptions, you/your team would need to read 16 books.
* For descriptions where you're asked for a certain word, like 'air', letters must appear next to each other in order as 'air', if they are in any other order, such as backwards as 'ria', then they will not count.

For 'Aztec Zone - Mystery - * Read a book which is part of a trilogy.'
It can be any book, as long as it is one of the three main books in the trilogy,
(there is another description though, for 'Futuristic Zone - Skill - * Read a book which is part of a series, but isn't the first or last book.' which is possibly the one where people are talking about not being able to read the first book though, so that might be why people are saying both ☺)

Basically, if a description is completed, then it will be marked off on the team's scoreboard, so if your team completes 4 Aztec Mystery descriptions, then it will show up like this -
There is nothing to stop you or your team from completing the same description multiple times, you'll just increase the number on your scoreboard, you will obviously get more bonus points if you spread them out though ☺
There is nothing against using the same book for the same description either, as long as it's a different member of the team reading it each time. So 5 of you could read the same book, and count it for the same description if you wanted to ☺
You can also use the same book for the same description if you are buddy reading, it's up to the team which description to use for which book ☺
You will only earn bonus points for completing 4 descriptions from the 4 different areas of each zone though, so for instance 1 Physical, 1 Mental, 1 Skill, and 1 Mystery from the Aztec zone, so it's best to try and spread the books out if they count for more than one description x
