Wrong page count

Amy J Murphy has released her short story "Simple Thing" from the "Orphans in Black" (ISBN-13: 978-1973742210) anthology. The thing is, the anthology is 720 pages long but the stand alone short story page count is 877 and there is only one edition, so it's not just a mismatch there.

I strongly suspect that the story is really 87 pages long. (My kindle is only telling me I am currently at "Location 161 of 854" but it is changing about 1% per page turn.)
