Carina and Nick have an immediate attraction. Did they manage it adequately throughout the investigation? Let it interfere with the job? Did their romance work for you? If so, why; if not, why not?

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) | 909 comments Their attraction and how they dealt with it felt very realistic to me. I think the author did a good job of having them working on solving the case and balancing the romance side. It definitely worked for me.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1808 comments The romance aspects were very well down. I believed in Carina and Nick's immediate attraction and their dilemma in beginning a relationship considering both the case and their personal issues.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments I liked them together and I think they had their priorities straight.

I liked their romance, which developed slowly and rather naturally. They did a good job keeping things professional, too. It worked for me.

Melissa (melissasd) | 676 comments I think that Carina and Nick did a pretty good job handling their feelings for each other. You could tell that they were protective of each other, but it never interfered in what they needed to do. I think they make a lovely couple.

Loved the romance aspect of this book! A perfect blend of romance & suspense imo. I liked the push, the pull, the fighting the feelings, the trying to remain professional, and finally the give-in to it all. Great job by the author.
