In The Parker Inheritance, two people try to uncover a mystery for a lot of money, that the main character's grandmother got kicked out of the city for trying to solve a while back. This mystery is not easy and must be solved with every fact in play. To do this, a lot of what happens is that the main characters must read a lot, and research to get clues and hints to uncover the mystery. The main characters also love to read, so the mystery was entertaining, and like a thing they do for fun, other than the most serious thing ever. Later on in the mystery, though, it does become more serious, and they realize that this mystery, and the thing it gives you actually meant more than just money. There is a whole backstory to where the money comes from, and what it means if the money is retrieved, that is just too hard to pass on.
