Truthfully probably a 4.5 but since maths rounds up...….
The only down side was the swearing in the first couple of chapters but with the title I guess if I don't like it I shouldn't have read it.
The actual advice was refreshingly honest, sometimes a little too close for comfort but Mark Manson does point out several times that honesty is not always comfortable. His views on honesty and trust are well explained and I have quoted them to friends who would rather say nothing than risk offending someone/me. I am hoping it can improve our friendships but possibly only in so far as they may understand why I am so blunt and why I don't like guessing if they actually want what they say they want.
If everyone lived like this the world would be a much easier place to understand and there would be far less guessing and far more time to invest in useful things like hanging out with people you care about doing what you all actually want to do.
