The Breakfast Club for 40-Somethings: A Novel Approach to Unlearning Money and Reinventing Your Life by Vanessa Stoykov, 4 stars
A gentle reminder that we should all check our finances regularly. There wasn't that much finance content other than reminding us that we all have unique situations and should make our plans accordingly. 40s do seem to be a time to reflect and get set for the second half of our working lives. I did like that Stoykov made it clear that everything is still fixable if we are sensible and that we still need some balance in life to make it worth bothering. So many other finance books just spell doom and gloom and life can't be just about money, though I will go see my financial planner.
