I am trying to recall the name of a book I read several years ago back in High School, so like 2012 ish. I don't remember everything but I rememebr soome plot, I also think it was possibly 1 word, but I could be wrong. The cover was a girl laying on a beach with a planet behind her.

The book was about a girl who lived in space and found out she was to be married, she thought to her friend. Her friend also thought this so they ended up doing the dirty just to find out she was supposed to marry his father. This enraged her supposed to be fiance and she was cast out of the ship to die, but she made it to a planet and had to adjust to life there. She meets a guy on the planet who she lives with and I believe they fall in love.

Hi Samantha, I'm sure I've read this too, but I read a bunch of similar space stories at the same time a few years ago, so I'm not 100% sure which one this was ... The cover isn't a match, but is your book Starglass by Phoebe North? Or Salvage by Alexandra Duncan (which is a cover match but I thought had a slightly different plot)?
