I'm not thrilled with the crying category (I don't usually like my stories very sad), or love triangles (my least favorite trope). But hopefully if one of those is called I can find something I will enjoy :)
How about your favorites Mariana?

I'm not thrilled with the crying category or the royalty.
that would really suck for me if the category for me is law enforcement. I just finished one. lol.. I could find another one with not much effort. lol

THIS WAS SO SO GOOD!!! It should totally fit for those you needing a "made-me-cry" option - the last few chapters had me in tears! I always like Lisa Kleypas, but this is her second book I've loved (Devil in Winter is the other). Aline & McKenna's strength in facing desperate circumstances is inspiring. I also loved Olivia and Gideon's story woven through the book - Olivia's refusal to accept alcoholism in a husband is perfect.

Book:Rock Chick by Kristen Ashley
Rating: 2.5 stars
Review:
This was my first Kristen Ashley and I had a lot of problems with it.The plot was over the top. The heroine was immature, she behaved like a teenager not an adult. And the hero was an ass, he was possessive and arrogant and I just didn't liked him. But I read this book in 2 days, I was hooked so maybe I will continue with the series.

Book: The Bigger They Are

Review:
This was one kinky read, lol. I liked Wren and Charlie a lot. This was an angst-free story about a younger guy who has been acting out to get the attention of his older bodyguard, who has been secretly pining for his charge. They are both adult aged, so not creepy there. With the help of a few friends and one sexy club scene, these two figure out what they want.

After the Night by Linda Howard

Review
Well, what can I say about this book I loved it.
This is the second book I have read by Linda Howard and she is fast becoming a favorite.
Gray Rouillard is a rich, spoiled brat. I hated him through the entire book. His attitude was self righteous and cocky from the started. He hates the Devlin family no matter who it was even a young girl only fourteen years old. He wants them destroyed. He ran the town and everyone in it.
Faith Devlin is poor white “trash”. She has had a rough life and it doesn't get any easier. She has been infatuated by Gray since she was very young and never got over it. I felt sorry for Faith she had no one to care about her. She was made to take care of her younger brother who had heart problems. With her family torn to the four corners Jodie, Scottie and Faith enter foster care program. Faith and Scottie get sent to a wonderful home and prosper. She graduates from college with a very good GPA.
I love Faith she has a lot of spunk. It took a lot of courage to walk in to the town that hated her. To look like her mother was even worse. Memories flooded back twelve years ago. But she has to know. Not just for her but for Guy's family. She just can't let sleeping dogs lie. Someone has to pay for what they did. Was it murder? Not sure but she will find out.
Faith starts to unravel the mystery behind Guy's disappearance and the plot thickens. She starts receiving threats and a dead cat. What actually happened.... Was Guy murdered? Did he run off with someone? Did he just decide to leave? Is the murderer afraid of getting caught? Is she getting close to him?
The relationship is stormy between Gray and Faith. The sexual tension is HOT!!
I will definitely read more of her books.

Review:
I love the twist - HE has loved HER for years. Usually, with unrequited love, you get girl loves boy, girl obsesses about boy, boy finally notices girl, ba da boom! Here, the girl and boy have known each other and interacted for years. It's only through the frequent meetings that the boy gradually develops his affection and regard. It was so very, very sweet.

Oh, Ty! We'll miss you!

I'm sorry to hear you can't continue Ty...

I'm sorry you had to drop the team challenge. Your reviews always made me smile and added a fun touch to our group.
I am sorry to hear this Ty. But good luck with what ever is going on.
Me it is going to be tough cuz I broke my glasses the other night. but I will be getting new ones hopefully Tuesday or Wednesday. It is funny watching me try to see the screen. lol

Review: This was very cute. I loved the banter between the MCs. Francine (my name!) is a sassy wolf shifter who finds herself in a difficult situation....2 shifters, a wolf (who she's been friends with forever) and a jaguar both want her attention. What's a fiery redheaded wolf shifter to do?

I liked this book. It was funny and romantic especially the last part. I loved the friendship between these two guys but I didn't like the porn part of the story. Still was a very enjoyable read and I will definitely read more from this author.

This was my first Laura Lee Guhrke novel, and I loved it! Emma's personal development from a strong, independent woman who's living by the dictates of people in her past to an even stronger, more passionate, but still smart woman living life on her own terms was beautiful and inspiring. Marlow & Emma's arguments were entertaining - especially the first one, where Emma shows her true self to him for the first time. I can't wait to read more from this author now!

The boy who sneaks in my window by Kristy Moseley

Review
Jake older brother to Amber. He is overprotective of her. He was psychically abused by his father.
Liam next door neighbor. Best friends with Jake. Adored Amber
Amber little sister to Jake. Physically and sexually abused by her father. She is a sweet, loving and caring teenager.
After years of abuse Amber has a overprotective brother and a sweet and loving boyfriend in Liam. Liam is best friends with Jake. Jake has a hard time with his sister being with Liam. He sees how good Liam is with her and finally gives his blessings. I loved watching how Liam could ease Amber out of her “freakout”. They are good together. I am not much on reading YA books but I did like this one. Will Amber be able to forgive her father? Will she ever learn to let people in? Will Jake ever forgive his father? Will Amber and Liam's relationship survive? Is there father still abusive? (view spoiler) I am not much of a reader of YA so this one had me. Not sure that I will read any others by Kristy Moseley but I might just depends on how I am feeling at the moment. All around I give it a 4 star but 3.5 might be better option.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

I did like this book, but it had all the markings of a Harlequin Romance to me. By the way, I love Harlequin books so that wasn't a problem for me.
Amy Harper grew up with a drug addict for a mother. She was in and out of relationships all the time. Amy's mom died when she was 14 and was sent to an awesome Foster home. She graduates from college. Amy has vowed to never need a man for anything. She doesn't trust anyone.
Lucas has just taken over the business (Anderson Cooperation) from his father who retired but is still active in the business. He distrust women. The women he has become involved with were only out for his money and the power he has.
