We learn a lot more about Shadowhunters when Tessa reads from the Shadowhunters Codex. Did you discover anything you hadn’t known from The Mortal Instruments stories?

I thought the creation of the Codex for Tessa to read was a great solution to the world building issue for the series.

There are lots of fan sites for these series, including the author’s, that captures a lot about the worlds. I’ll try to add the Codex stuff with the next book.
