April Reading Assignment

Adultolescence is a book about growing up. my sister had recommended this book for the longest time ever. She told me I was gonna like it because I will relate to it. And she was right I really liked the poems that were in the book they’re short but they’re all funny or sad but most of all relatable. Some of them do have swearwords but I think it makes it more acceptable because it’s for young adults. I would give this book 5 out of five, mostly because I think everyone in 11th grade English would relate to at least one of the poems. I really like that end poem because it sums up the whole book by saying to not let a person borrow your book, but to tell them to buy their own, so the author can make more money which sounded funny to me.
