I’m probably not going to be able to keep up with the first part of the schedule, as my exams finish on the 14th. But after that I’ll be reading like the wind! I’m so excited to start this book!

I've started it today and it's so daunting that I've decided to start the audiobook 😅

I got to page 17 and I’m just like 🤯
It won’t even fit in my biggest booksleeves!!
But I’m going to persevere with it...maybe 🙈

Yeah first two parts are 404 pages which I didn't realise when we put together the schedule 😬

I started today, only about 30 pages in but man that books heavy! I'm going to have to choose another book to read when I have a bath tonight I won't be able to hold it haha.

How’s the reading going? ☺️
I’m 50 pages away from the end of part 1 and I have some thoughts.
Mainly - ‘what the frick is even happening?’
I’m 208 pages in and I have no idea what’s going on, who’s who and who isn’t. It’s so confusing 😬

I'm about the same place as you. I think I'm following things okay at the moment, I'm really enjoying it. I have heard from several people that the first 200 or so pages is very info dumpy and can be a bit of a slog but it gets better after that.

I’m 300 pages into it and i feel like I’m more interested to only one side or two of the story. Like some POV i would skip! Someone else feel the same? XD

I feel the same. Obviously I’m reading it all but I’m only interested in Tané or whatever her name is and Sabran. I don’t even know what’s going on in the other POVs 🙈

Today I made the decision to DNF it. I just have no idea what’s going on, I’m not connecting with the characters and I’m just not enjoying it.

I’d love to know what you all think though! 💗

Oh no Lauren that sucks. I'm actually really enjoying it I've just got to the end of part two, I'm not sure I'm going to be able to wait to follow the schedule though. I can see why people would find the first couple 100 pages hard going though but it definitely picks up. I'm enjoying Ead and Sabrans POVs the most.

I’m on page 302 and just have no interest in picking it up 😂 I feel so bad though for ditching it when we are all reading it but it’s just too much for me at the moment

Don't feel bad, life's too short to read books your not enjoying.
