Hi, I’m Caitlin, I’m 14 and I live in England (United Kingdom) I read YA contemporary and fantasy. My favourite books Harry Potter, basically all Nicola Yoons books, they both die at the end, I’ll give you the sun, Aristotle and Dante discover the secrets of the universe. A book I really want to read is carry on. I’m about the start the arc of scythe trilogy so that’s fun. I’m all up for making friends so feel free to talk to me haha:))

Hi everyone! I’m super excited to be here, my name is Ellora! I’m in my early teens and I’m from California. Some of my favorite genres are Ya Fantasy and Historical Fiction(which I don’t read enough of!). I love so so so many books but the ones that come to mind are Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson, The Outsiders by SE Hinton, Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare, Thunderhead by Neal Shusterman, and Fablehaven by Brandon Mull. My favorite authors are Neal Shusterman, Cassandra Clare, Marissa Meyer, and Rick Riordan! A book that I’m extremely excited to read is Lovely War by Julie Berry. My hobbies are ofc reading and buying books. I also love to listen to music, mainly show-tunes and classic rock. I don’t play sports anymore but used to play Volleyball and Basketball. I’m also apart of my Library’s Teen Book Club and my schools Science Club. My dream job would ofc be an author, but I would also love to be a journalist or a nurse! I would like to be apart of this group because I would love to talk about books with people close to my age, since my friends don’t really read :(. I would also love to branch out online and hopefully find some new friends! I don’t really have any suggestions right now, but I will let you know if I do! Can’t wait to meet you all!Happy Reading,

Hello Elora! What do you think about the clockwork princess? My brother has them and he told me that they are to old for me. Do you think I Should read them?
They’re YA books so the age range is around 13-18. I think it’s just what you’re comfortable with. They’re somewhat violent and there is only one extremely tame s*x scene in book 3. There also no fowl language. The Infernal Devices is a prequel series to The Mortal Instruments, but you totally don’t have to read TMI. Common Sense Media has great reviews on all 3 books. I personally love them and think the concept is great. You could totally read them it just comes down to what you’re comfortable with/what your parents allow.

- I'm thirteen (almost 14)
- I'm from the UK.
- I usually read fantasy type books but sometimes I can get into other genres. I really like a lot of books from Cassandra Clare (The Mortal Instruments, Infernal Devices mostly), Rick Riordan (Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus, Kane Chronicles), I love Harry Potter (who doesn't lol) and a lot more.
- I'm looking forward to reading a book called The Silvered Serpents by Roshani Chokshi (I read the first book in the series and it quickly became one of my favs).
- Obviously, I'm a big fan of reading, I also like to write my own books and stuff and I play netball and football.
- I want to be an actress and author when I grow up.
- I just joined this group cuz I thought it would be fun to talk to other people closer to my age about books - none of my friends love reading as much as I do

Sameee! I always think about the ending. It made me so sad, but I think it was beautifully written. Have you read any of Cassandra Clare’s other books? I’m thinking about reading the Dark Artifices soon!

Jem too, of course. Oh, and I've also read The Mortal Instruments and I'm just starting The Red Scrolls of Magic (I think that's what it's called?) and I've read the first two books in the Dark Artifices. I didn't love them, but maybe they'll get better? I might have to reread them or something in the future. Have you read the Mortal Instruments? I enjoyed them, even though I didn't love them quite as much as TID.

Hi, I am a little late to the party so this probably won't matter, but my name is Gabi, I am from the U.S. I love to read. Some of the books I have read are The Maze Runner books. Darkest Minds, Harry Potter, Apollo and CanterWood Crest. Other than reading I play video games and I am a level 6 gymnast. Am writing a fan-fiction based off of a few books and TV series that I love. I don't know what I want to do in my future but I do know that I want to do something with animals. I want to read The hunger games, The Divergent series, and the Maze Runner series. I like to sing and dance. I really want to learn how to ride a horse, do archery, and sword fight. I’m from the United States
and my favorite authors are Colleen Hoover and Jenny Han! My favorite books by far are To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, Five Feet Apart, Tell Me Three Things, It Ends With Us and Anna and the French Kiss! (I have so much more but I can’t list them all). I’m actually looking forward to reading When Dimple met Rishi by Sandhya Menon. I love playing video games, run, and hanging out with my friends and family. I run track and I play volleyball! Growing up I’ve always wanted to be a nurse anesthetist! and I want to be part of this group because I want to make friends and get some book recommendations from you guys even if it’s out of my book genre comfort zone :). Personally I love reading romance books so I recommend any book from Colleen Hoover - her work is amazing - and I also recommend The Siren by Kiera Cass!
