LOOKING FOR NAME OF BOOK OR THE AUTHOR

I'm looking for name of author or book and it's driving me crazy that I can't come up with either. The book came out 2017-2018, round about LOL. It's about high school sweethearts and he goes off to college thinking he is going to go into the priesthood. She goes to visit him at college a few times and tries to persuade him that he loves her and he's not meant to be a Priest, he's supposed to make a life with her. There is another book that's coming out but I can't remember the author's name to even look to see if the book has come out yet. HELP...I hope someone recognizes this story and can help me.
