Reading Envy 150: Rife with Storytelling with Sara

Jenny and Sara combat humidity and allergies to get together to chat books. We cover escapes and intergalactic refugees, snakes and fish, serial killers and out of print reads. Jenny can't decide on a third book so discusses three more books, and Sara has a word bleeped out from a story too funny not to include.

I snagged The Deeper the Water the Uglier the Fish this afternoon after listening to this episode, and I’m already 1/4 of the way through. Thanks for the recommendation! I also really want to check out The Man Who Spoke Snakish.

Hotel was also a movie made in the 60's (a bad movie). So funny Sara LOVES those books...she is a great guest!

Sara sold me on Hotel! And Airport. The author has even more books that sound similar. Now to squeeze them into my schedule, it's full of the Camp ToB longlist. And ARCs/galleys.

I randomly had been listening to Daisy Jones & The Six when the ToB list was announced. (It’s great in audio!)
