The book I'm looking for is a fantasy novel. There is a fisherman who has a big knife with him since he was born. During the development of the story you discover he is a descendant of Richard Lionhearted and the knife is a piece of Excalibur, The quest is to find the pieces of the sword to recompose it to save continuum. I'm not sure but I think it is a part of a series of books. Not many may be two or three adventures. I read it more than twenty years ago.
