ᗩᑎᗪᖇᗴᗯ (anxovert) I got the page count from the other Kindle version on Goodreads.

ᗩᑎᗪᖇᗴᗯ (anxovert) 298 is probably right, it is what the iOS Kindle app says. Sorry, I’m new to this stuff.

ᗩᑎᗪᖇᗴᗯ (anxovert) Thanks :)

Melanie (mvalente89) | 2199 comments Undone. Kindle edition page counts must come from Amazon and this edition is not on Amazon (the cover is different).

The edition currently on Amazon is here.

Yes, that's the one I updated. The old version is an alternative cover version for the same book, so that older version has that same page count as well

Melanie (mvalente89) | 2199 comments Unless you can verify the Kindle edition's page count on Amazon (which you can't do if the cover has changed as that's a new edition), you can't add the page count. Once the cover had changed it's considered a different edition and the old one can no longer be updated as that edition is no longer available.

You can't know the page count was the same as the author could have updated the text when they updated the cover.

ᗩᑎᗪᖇᗴᗯ (anxovert) Thanks for clarifying, Melanie. This is a bit of a bummer as it throws out my (automatically collated by Goodreads) pages-read count for the year, but I guess I'm not the first (and nor will I be the last) to be affected by this rule.

Melanie (mvalente89) | 2199 comments You could always switch to the other Kindle edition with the new cover which has the page count.

ᗩᑎᗪᖇᗴᗯ (anxovert) That's what I've done, for the page count, though I don't like that cover. Can't win 'em all I guess. Thanks again.
