What makes you put down a book?

I saw an interesting article that said women in general use "just" too much to water down our interactions. "I'm just checking to see if you have that document." "I just wanted to ask if you will be done by ten."

They suggested it was a feature of female style that made men underrate us. Interesting theory, eh?

(BTW, I was proud of myself for turning over 300 "just" into less than 200 in a recent book LOL.)
