Modern advertising is very sophisticated. It is good to see that female astronauts will use Olay lotions.

Strange though, when they say silk feels nice, who do they mean it feels nice to? The dead people?

message 719: by Bernard (new)

Bernard Smith | 3030 comments A good point! Presumably dead Martians cannot feel anything.

It can't really go in a straight line - failure to stop- in time would be, er, terminal.

Mysterious radio signals from space have been known to repeat, but for the first time, researchers have noticed a pattern in a series of bursts coming from a single source half a billion light-years from Earth. https://t.co/y4hgBhqaco

message 724: by Bradley (new)

Bradley Simon | 1028 comments This is a big event. Considering CNN has reported it, we must be closer to answering the eternal question:
Are we alone on this planet?

message 725: by Ian (new)

Ian Miller | 269 comments Bradley, you are not alone on this planet. There are something like 9 billion others :-)

The link suggests something to do with neutron stars, so they would not be very populated.

Actually, I have one of them too (a new theory, that is). I published an ebook called "Planetary Formation and Biogenesis". An important point to note is that Ultima Thule is an object that did not form or get incorporated into a planet.
