The paranormal element is minor. I wouldn't classify it as paranormal.

There is a slight paranormal twist near the end, but to class this as outright paranormal is misleading. From looking at Jaycee Clark's other books, they are definitely paranormal - not my thing at all.

2 things though:Her fear of not being able to have children was something that needed to be addressed earlier and not in the epilogue.

I gave it 4 stars because it had me hooked the whole time and I enjoyed the mystery and the characters interactions very much.
Good news is the series gets better in my opinion.

Yes, I agree about the epilogue. That should have been brought up sooner, if only in Jesslyn's thoughts.
