Linking to a series or creating a new series

This is a collection of the Doomsday Clock #1: That Annihilated Place Doomsday Clock #2: Places We Have Never Known Doomsday Clock #3: Not Victory Nor Defeat single issues #1-3 of the doomsday clock series. But as it appears, a collection of this exact extent, has only been published in Germany, not in its original language or under its original publisher, and probably won´t be either.
I don´t know if stuff like this gets linked to the original series or if a new one has to be created.
