This one too please

book 10 (series conclusion) https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...

to series link https://www.goodreads.com/series/9120...

Also, the blurb needs some work, it is one big block of text with no paragraphs

It is the year 2018. Mirabella Battaglia has survived births, deaths, and betrayals as the wife of the most powerful Camorra Mafia Don in all of the Amalfi. Through vengeance and blood the family she swore to protect paid the ultimate price. Now at the seasoned age of 54, she has decided to reveal her truth to her children and the world. A truth steeped in lies and secrets once nurtured and empire but later destroyed the most powerful man in their lives. Her children are divided on how best to protect their parent's legacy. Her husband's absence haunts them all. But after three decades of mistakes, she has now learned the most valued lesson. Love doesn't solve everything but if truly believed it can heal almost anyone. This is the long-awaited conclusion to the Battaglia Mafia Series. You can start at the end to understand the beginning. However, for those of you who have spent the past 8 years loving, loathing, and enjoying la famiglia, you finally have the conclusion this love affair deserves. The journey to the end of the Mafia Boss and his Black American Bella is as epic as true love.

Please also add

book 2 of a duet https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

to series link https://www.goodreads.com/series/2174...

And this

book 11 https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...
book 12 https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...

to series link https://www.goodreads.com/series/2263...

Also, with this series the following text is at the end of every blurb and should be deleted and added as series page blurb

Note: Each Love Story is a standalone. There are some shared characters throughout the books (siblings, friends, etc.) Closely related books are often distinguishable by the similar covers. The book order so far is as follows:

-Premiere
-Candidate
-Taste
-Reserved
-Stirred
-Vacancy
-Playbook
-Exposure
-Brew
-Smooth
-Tap

#77 not done, its not a series by GR standards

kittykat AKA Ms. Tortitude | 2510 comments Thanks, but #76 the blurbs have not yet been amended.

and #77 I see you removed the pre-existing series link for the first two books but added the additional (unnecessary) wording as part of the book titles. I've said it before and I'll say it again, sometimes the GR 'standards' make no sense at all.

message 80: by Sandra (new)

Sandra | 31542 comments #79 I did actually amend the blurbs I saw, I didn't check every edition only the 2 you mentioned.

And no I personally didn't remove the links for #1 & #2 in the supposed series for #77, though I probably should have. So obviously another librarian thought the same as I did. A themed anthology and in this case 3 different themed anthologies don't make a series.

kittykat AKA Ms. Tortitude | 2510 comments Quote from #76 above

kittykat wrote: "Also, with this series the following text is at the end of every blurb and should be deleted and added as series page blurb ..."

All blurbs are still intact other than 10 and 12. Can someone please remove the bloat as per above.

I still am of the opinion that if an author/editor calls a set of books a series, or they have part of a title in common (!) or even that they are connected in some other way incl. a common theme, then that should be respected and listed as such. Primarily because it helps us site users (ie the readers of books) to find all connected works listed in one place, even if they are not strictly serialised or episodic. It's incredibly frustrating to be reading a book only to find that there is another book with the same characters, or set in the same location, or with other commonalities that would make for an enhanced reading experience just because GR doesn't consider it so.

So, in my frustration with this, I'll say yet again, some GR 'standards' are ridiculous.

You can say it all you like, but since librarians are not staff there is not much point saying it here.

Author website https://tammyfalkner.wordpress.com/faqs/

Can you correct the series order (book 2.5 and 3) and re-number as per the author website, please. Book 10.5 on this list here should be book 19.

kittykat wrote: "Book 10.5 on this list here should be book 19."

No, because it's a novella. Please note that series numbering on Goodreads may differ from the numbering elsewhere, especially if the series includes novellas or shorts. See https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/...

kittykat AKA Ms. Tortitude | 2510 comments Yet again another GR stipulation that disregards how the author of a book or series of books identifies their own work. Go GR.

At the very least correct the order of what you insist on calling 2.5 which should come after what you insist on calling book 4 as per the author website which I'll paste again here for your convenience https://tammyfalkner.wordpress.com/faqs/
