Desperate to be a librarian

Hello everybody. I have applied almost ten times to become a Goodreads librarian and it still has not happened, even though I fulfill all the requirements, I have more than 160 Read books.

Can anyone help me? I am desperate to become a librarian because I think I could give so much to this site and help the Goodreads community.

While we do carefully weigh all librarian status requests, not all requests are ultimately approved. It’s possible that something in your request message raised one of our red flags, or you didn't provide enough information for us to approve your request. I’d suggest looking through our librarian manual for more information about our policies, then trying to apply again here. Please include a detailed explanation of what you hope to accomplish as a librarian.

I think it's a bit of luck as well to get in at the right time. I applied and got in right off the bat, days after joining Goodreads! Must've been a shortage :P
