After I finish Lidsville, I may rewatch Land of the Lost or move onto Bugaloos.

Kind of bummed as Tubi doesn't have lidsville or the super show (I love Bigfoot and Wildboy!)
I have no memory of ever watching the bugaboos.
Rick wrote: "I forgot about Bigfoot & Wildboy 😹😹😹"One of my faves.
Never get their own show, but were a segment on the Kroft super show.
Rick wrote: "And the Banana Splits 😹😹😹And don’t forget Sigmund & the Sea Monsters!"
Did the Krofts do the Banana splits?
Thought that was someone else.
Rick wrote: "Hanna-Barbera was the producer, but the Kroffts designed the characters."Did not know that.

I’d forgotten the detail specifics, I had to look it up. If we’d been talking about Hanna-Barbera stuff, I probably would have mentioned it with them as well. 🤷🏻♂️

I trust you.
You're generally reliable.
Every now and then HB would do something live action. I just assumed this was all theirs.
Shame the Kroft stuff seems to be in some kind of rights limbo.
So many great ideas.
A comic line of some new attempts at shows or movie could be amazing.
They never seemed to get the traction and fandom of Jim Henson and the Muppets. It would be cool to see a more contemporary take of something like HR Pufnstuf done like the new Willow or Dark Crystal series.
Rick wrote: "They never seemed to get the traction and fandom of Jim Henson and the Muppets. It would be cool to see a more contemporary take of something like HR Pufnstuf done like the new Willow..."Aside from, Land of the Lost, they are very much a cult franchise.
Almost any one of the shows would be fun to see come back, as long as it wasn't done just to do a 'boy, that old stuff sure was goofy!' version.
Those never work.
All the Kroft stuff has tons of imagination and ideas: given to a writer who gets that and a budget, they'd be a lot of fun.
I loved The Lost Saucer and Land of the Lost when I was a kid. Electra Woman was cool too. I should find time to check Tubi out and take a trip down Memory Lane.
Ivan wrote: "I loved The Lost Saucer and Land of the Lost when I was a kid. Electra Woman was cool too. I should find time to check Tubi out and take a trip down Memory Lane."The Tubi site is a mess, but I've stumbled across some great stuff.
And Lost Saucer is a fun. Working my way through it now.
Rick wrote: "I remember The Lost Saucer, but don’t think I ever watched it. Maybe an episode? 🤷🏻♂️"It's fun. Little bit of lost in space, a spoonful of Doctor Who. and a lot of guest stars from people you've seen on a gazillion other TV shows
And their pet is one of my favorite characters.
Now, maybe it's because I indulged a little more than usual on cocktails, while I was on vacation, but I dreamed the first episode of a police procedural show set in the Star Wars universe.Does anybody happen to have Jon Faverue's phone number?
I think I got a money maker for him.
Rick wrote: "No wait! You tricked me in giving out his number! (1-555-Iro-nMan)"
Cool.
If he hires me to write it, I'll name a droid after you or something.
The Bugalos: what the #$%! did I just watch?Even by Kroft standards, that was weird.
Kids like TV shows about rock bands and kids like bugs, let's combine them!
and for good measure, lets dress the rat like a nazi...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! The Bugaloos was a trip, all right! It did have a catchy theme tune....

😹😹😹 This is generally my reaction to all of the Krofft shows. 😹😹😹 Basically: surreal fever dreams of crazy insanity. 😹😹😹
Maybe it's because I have no memory of/nostalgia for this show, but it didn't do much for me.The kids and music are decent, but what are they?
A band?
Guardians of this fairy garden?
and Martha Rae is making Billie West look like a subtle and restrained actress. She looks uncomfortable in the make up.
Think I'll move on...oh, look, they got Dr. Shrinker!
Travis wrote: "… Think I'll move on...oh, look, they got Dr. Shrinker!"Yep, just move on. I can only handle any of the Krofft shows in small bits. I’m still working on Lidsville and likely will be for awhile.
Travis wrote: "… The kids and music are decent, but what are they? A band? Guardians of this fairy garden? ..."Can’t they be both?

They've become one of the things I watch when I'm up late.
Fun, but I don't need to think too hard about.

Weird as they are, most Kroft shows have a clearly defined structure/idea.
This one is just kind of vague
I’ve not seen any episodes since I was a kid. I remember enjoying them, but I’ve only vague memories of what the episodes were like. I’ve seen Land of the Lost, HP Pufnstuf, and Lidsville in the last few years.
Dr. Shrinker: freaked me out as a kid, and the title actor is still pretty creepy.Effects are decent, but our 3 heroes are pretty annoying.
Not sure if I want to root for them.
Lidsville: probably one of my favorites.Has a weird 'Alice and wonderland' vibe and CNR is playing Hoo-doo for all he's worth.
I just finished Marvel Spotlight’s Echo. Mixed feelings. Love the story and the notion of trying to heal Kingpin to “defeat” him. Awesome. But man the editing is terrible. And I don’t think I could have handled one more sequence of Maya “dramatically” driving her motorcycle across town.
Rick wrote: "I think I saw an episode of that and never gave it another shot."The bad guys are better actors than the good guys and the writers don't seem to know how to fix that and stop caring, as the bad guys are more fun to write.

Echo was the least interesting part of Hawkeye, so giving her a solo show didn't hook me.
Her comic debut was when I wasn't reading Daredevil.
And even Disney + seemed to lose interest in her.
Coming right after Loki didn't help.
Travis wrote: " … Her comic debut was when I wasn't reading Daredevil. And even Disney + seemed to lose interest in her. Coming right after Loki didn't help."Same with me and I agree with your other points.
I just watched the Kamandi and OMAC episodes from the series Batman: The Brave and the Bold. Both were readily recognizable as Kirby’s characters, but that was all. Very disappointing.
Travis wrote: "The bad guys are better actors than the good guys and the writers don't seem to know how to fix that and stop caring, as the bad guys are more fun to write."Sadly, I find this true of most “superhero” stuff.

It can be.
some writers latch onto a character (Moffett and his magic girls) to the detriment of other characters and/or the story.

Loved seeing them on the screen, but as with most B+B episodes, I wanted more.
That show should have lead to a dozen spin offs.
Buck Rogers is one of the next b ig characters to go public domain in the next couple years.Interested to see if anyone else notices and does something with him.
The '80s Buck Rogers was a good show, especially the first season. If someone could do something like that again, I'd watch it.
