I get everyone is scrambling with the strike.
But three podcasts i listen to reviewing the Prisoner...!
Couldn't they have checked with each other?

Forgotten lives!
Thank you.
Kept thinking it was missing lives
Rick wrote: "Travis wrote: "… Couldn't they have checked with each other?”Maybe they did. 😹😹😹"
Probably.
The international 'Let's bug Trav' conspiracy has been working over time this year
Scream of the Shalka: Really good stuff. Shame they never got to do more.Richard E Grant is a great Doctor, really like his Tardis crew.
Cool monster and the animation is pretty solid.
Maybe one day, Big Finish will do something with this.
Travis wrote: "… Maybe one day, Big Finish will do something with this."Well, they’re not really hard up for material. Almost the opposite actually. But you never can tell … 🤷🏻♂️
I still haven’t watched it. Hmm, I’ve been thinking about doing something Whovian to break up Star Trek Picard season 3. 🤔

They've given characters with less screen time stories, can't see why they'd pass it up.
And all three leads are still around and Derick Jacobi's done voice work for BF already.

I'm undecided.

And all three leads are still around and Derick Jacobi's done voice work for BF already."That’s my point. Just with Doctor Who they have 12 regular Doctors, the Warrior (aka War Doctor), the Fugitive Doctor, and the Unbound Doctor (David Warner), and then multiple character spin-offs from both new and classic Who shows. Paternoster Gang, UNIT, New UNIT, River Song, Jago & Litefoot, Lady Christina, Jenny the Doctor’s Daughter, Peladon, Robots, Gallifrey, Bernice Summerfield, Rani Takes on the World, Torchwood, Rose Tyler & the Dimension Canon, The Meddling Monk, several different iterations of the Master and that’s not even all the Doctor Who related series, and then there’s non-Who stuff AND Who-tangent stuff. It kind of boggles the mind. They’ve got so much going on, they’re actually able to pick and choose just stuff that it seems will generate definite sales. But I’d bet if Richard E Grant was interested they’d get into a sound booth.
I now own, and have reread, the entire marvel comic run of Battlestar Galactica from the late 70's and I must dsay, it holds up really well. They build up the side characters and let them do more, and have a nice stretch where there are no Cylons and the fleet deals with very Star Trek lite stories.
Good stuff.
I may need to break down and buy the TV series and add it to the rewatch list.
I didn’t think that classic Battlestar Galactica lived up to my memory. It starts out strong, but after about mid season, it really drops off.

I'm hoping to find it on one of my streaming sites, as I like the series, but only want to own it, if that's the last/cheapest resort.
Rewatched the Cushing Dalek movies. So much fun.
Think I prefer movie Susan to TV Susan.
Ian as comic relief got annoying, and Barbra was a bit of a damsel, but a competent one.
finally decided to take the plunge and buy some of the Cushing novels.
Pricey, as I can only find them through the UK publisher, but my wife let me splurge, as we have an anniversary coming up.
Finished Star Trek Picard season 3. What a wild ride that was! Starts out pretty lame, full of garbage and clichés, but by episode 3 (of 10) you start realizing there’s a lot more going on than appeared on the surface. There’s even reasons that the old gang has to get together again for one last adventure. Still a few quibbles, but a solid ending to a fine series.
Watching an old British mastery series and Caroline Johns and Roger Delgado show up in the same episode! That was a fun surprise.
Rick wrote: "Nice"Course, I missed a clue, because the minute I saw Delgado, I immediately became convinced he was the killer.

Rick wrote: "And then you found yourself expecting The Doctor to show up and solve the case?"If Jon Pertwee had shown up in the episode, I would have lost my mind or laughed myself silly.
Still think he and Nick Courtney should have done a Sherlock Holmes project together.
My Cushing Doctor 'Target novels' just arrived!!They look great and arrived way sooner than expected.

Nice!
Dr. Who and the Daleks: That was alot of fun.Reads like a Target novelization.
Nice attempts to explain how this alternate universe works and how the movie versions are different from there TV versions.
Love the Cushing Doctor and his relationship with movie Susan.
Can't wait to read what these guys do with the Ice Warriors!
Loki season 2, episode 1: well, they finally figured out how time travel works...shame it didn't happen during the first season.writing has taken a huge leap in quality. Let's see what happens.
Dr. Who and the Ice men from Mars: Finally! A brand new Cushing Dr. Who!!Really solid job adapting the original Ice Warriors story to work as a Cushing film.
I liked the new companions, but because we got them in-between movies, their introduction was a bit clunky.
Really my only complaint.
These were a headache to track down, but worth it.
Got two more, the second Dalek movie and then the cybermen!
I wish these guys got a USA distributor, because these are alot of fun and more people should get to read them, but they are really pricey and rough to track down.
Dalek invasion 2150: Solid novelization of the second Cushing movie. Some of the attempts to flesh out the side characters stories don't work, and there's too many references to adventures in between the movies for my tastes, but those are pretty minor grumbles.
Next is the Cybermen, then I have to start saving up for one of the other 4-packs.
Hot take caused by insomnia: Susan is not from Galifry.
With the timeless child messing with who-history, I don't think the Doctor can actually have children.
Susan is one of the many orphans the Doctor has taken on, or was 'assigned' to him by that shadowy agency.
I prefer the interpretation from Lungbarrow - that she's the granddaughter of the "original" Doctor's genetic material used and recombined by genetic looms from which the current Doctor and other TLs were "born".
I used to lean towards her being his granddaughter, maybe adopted, but all the monkeying has put me in the not territory.I mean, heck, the Doctor technically, isn't Galifrian anymore.
And that puts the whole concept back into the conceptualization of these early seasons, 1963-1969, when we didn’t really know much if anything about the Doctor. I rather like that. Back where we started.

I'm glad you figured it out! If you read the second anthology, you'll see a familiar name among its authors.

Obverse did/does US distribution through Lulu. I think they're limited in terms of what they can put on there thanks to them going after a guy on eBay a couple of years ago who was selling POD copies of their books and trying to deter people buying from the seller by making them available on there (all proceeds going to charity). They reported him and the seller, in turn, reported them to Lulu selling the Cushing titles as "copyrighted material." Their entire store was shut down for a long time, which have an impact on anyone who has books through them (including me having written The Silver Archive #5: Dark Skies for them).

Congrats
I pitched for the Paradise Towers anthology. Didn't make the cut but in both that and the books I bought, I've had nothing but good interactions with the obverse guys.
The Cushing books have been worth all the trouble I went through to get them.

Feels like the damage is out of proportion to the interesting bits we got.
Wrinkle in time: the movie isn't very good, but it got me to reread the book, which I love. The three old ladies feel like the kind of cosmic beings you could see hanging out with the Celestial Toymaker or the Eternals.

There was an anthology for the “Morbius Doctors?” 🙀
