So glad this one won as I have this as a penguin cloth bound book. will be the next book I start. yay
I have started this wee beastie. No nothing about it to be honest. Looking forward to reading Dickens's version of the French Revolution.

5 stars from me. This book is excellent.I think this is one of Dickens books that is easy to read, being historical fiction and set during the French Revolution makes this an interesting read. Great cast of characters with some nice plot twists too.
My copy was one of the Penguin Clothbound books and it is such a nice copy that it could have biased my opinion of the story . :-)

Things to consider:
1. Were you hooked immediately by the book or did it take a while to get into?
2. Did you like the plot?
3. Did the characters drive the plot or were they just passengers?
4. Did it come across as a credible story?
5. Did you connect to any of the characters in the story
6. Did you like the ending?
7. Did you have any quote or lines that stood out for you?
8. Would you read any other titles by this author?
