Week 7: Two Books Related to the Same Topic, Genre, or Theme

As with most books featuring teenagers, as an adult, I spent a lot of this book rolling my eyes at terrible choices from our characters and the fact that the parents seemed either willfully ignorant or incapable of parenting. Lots of drama, as expected with books featuring teenagers, adding in the struggle with being gay in New Orleans.
