Hey ladies are we setting page count or chapter count per day for this big hunk of a book. Then discuss. Im too excited lol. Heard good things. But truth be told i didnt like her Daughter of smoke and bone book I think thats what its called. But seen this is a 1 book fantasy and adult plus dragons i decided to give her another chance. Crossing my fingers.

I'm go through the book and see how best way to split it up.

4/9: ch 35-37 = 404 pages (end of part 2)
4/10: ch 38-42 = 453 pages
4/11: Catch up day (for those a bit behind)
4/12: ch 43-47 = 503 pages (end of part 3)
4/13: ch 48-52 = 547 pages
4/14: ch 53-55 = 597 pages
4/15: ch 56-57 = 619 pages (end of part 4)
4/15: Catch up day
4/16: ch 58-61 = 662 pages
4/16: ch 62-65 = 713 pages (end of part 5)
4/17: Catch up day
4/18: ch 66-69 = 755 pages
4/19: ch 70-72 = 785 pages
4/20 : ch 73-76 = 804 pages (Done)

That is 20 days. I even added catch up days encase someone fall behind or take a break skipping a day. The catch up can get you caught up. I try to keep daily reading goals between 50 to 60 pages a day. Some maybe shorter. I tried to keep where a new part of the book be started the next day.

Im a very fast reader but when I do buddy reads I have no problem slowing down and having a book dicussion on the story. I thought spiltting up chapters can help us all stay within the same of the storyline when discussing the story.

I used my hardbook edition in splitting the chapters with ending pages. If youre reading it on kindle I wouldnt know the pages but the chapters should match up.

Oh wow that’s a big move, totally understand. I may fall behind too since April is always the busiest month for me since classes end the first week of May. So we have to get all the work and exams done this month. So it’s good that we have catch up days.

Its totally ok to fall a bit behind ladies we got catch up days. Plus life lol. Where you moving to Katriann I know that can be a lot. I totally want to move out of USA lol. But hey I dont see that happening anytime soon.

I couldnt sleep so decided to get day1 done. Chaptet 1-4

I keep having to look at the map to see where eveeyone at thankgoodness for a physcial copy so many kingdoms, towns are mentioned in so little pages. So far i think im like Ead shes determined to find out whos trying to kill her queen. Hmm. East coast in Seiikia i cant wait to learn more about their politics their rules. Something about this disease Tane mention got me curious. (hide spoiler)]

I also think the politics of all the different cities and countries as well as the relationship between East and West are interesting. Oh and Lesa, I'm moving to Poland. It's for work and it's only temporary but there's still a lot to do before I can move.

Wondering whats that all about? Kit made sure to say looks like those Loth and Kit work for was determined to get Loth away from the kingdom due to getting the queen married. Hmm (hide spoiler)]

Day 2 pages 101

(view spoiler)[ So it looks like Ead has a magic ability. Now i see why she know when and where the cutthroats were going to be. Its making a bit more sense why Loth was sent. Sent by Night Hawk Combe i guess he has something to do with the royal guards but more likly to keep Loth away from the queen. Loth thinking hes going to get the kidnapped king. Poor Niclays hes in trouble. Oh my.
Not a lot of action just lots of storyline and small bits of back story which is fine by me. (hide spoiler)]

Okay I’m finally starting this book right now. By the way, there’s a glossary in the back of the book in case you didn’t know.

Yeah the glossary helps with whats what in their meanings. Plus its a timeline in the back too. And theres a couple pages of person of tales giving backgrounds to the characters.

Im a bit behind up tonight and decided to get in day 3 and then ill do day 4 later today.

(view spoiler)[ Ead wow I cant wait to know more about her and her magic. That damn Trudye she seen it now blabbing away. Queen acts as if she dont believe Trudye but i think she does believe it. Hmm. Tane chapters not too interesting to me now. Hope that changes soon. I think it would since Niclay has the identity to the girl that helped Sulyard. Niclayis on his way to Ginura where Tane at. So lets see how that turns out. Kit and Loth hmm i cant wait to get a vivid picture of Carscaro. (hide spoiler)]

I was surprised to find out that (view spoiler)[ Ead is able to do some magic. I never suspected that. I just thought she had been trained as some kind of guard or something. I'm guessing she's going to take Arbella's place in the Bedchamber now when Arbella is dead. (hide spoiler)]

Im have to admit the story hasnt been to intriging to keep me picking up daily. But these last few chapters got me interested.

I wonder if Loth (view spoiler)[ is going to find a way to get out of the Priory. How is he going to tell the world what's happening in Yscalin if he can't see anyone? (hide spoiler)]

I agree with you, Lesa. (view spoiler)[ It looks like Sabran is getting quite attached to Ead. I wonder if Ead will want to leave when the time comes. I think it was said that Sabran was hurt in the wyvern attack. If she loses the baby, then of course, Ead may not have to leave that soon. (hide spoiler)]

Shantavia, there's no hurry. I really liked The Bone Season so I had high hopes for this book too. So far I've found this story okay but not as interesting as I hoped.

Im try to catch up today. But I also want to start Godsgrave and from how much I loved Nevernight I have a feeling that im going to enjoy book 2. Im try to get in day 9 and 10 crossing my fingers.

Now i finallt know how his boyfriend died. He now have the riddled solved on what he need to create eteral life. But Tane dragon warned him not to give it to the pirates. I would like to know why (view spoiler)[ the text Niclays had was not supposed to be taken back to the east. Why would it be safer to keep it in the west or south than to keep it in the east? It will be interesting to see if they actually find something when they follow the instructions in the star charts. (hide spoiler)]

I agree that it (view spoiler)[ was kind of predictable that Ead and Sabran would fall in love. I'd like to know how Ead and Loth plan to help Sabran. Neither one of them is exactly welcome in Inys. (hide spoiler)]

How on earth (view spoiler)[ did the jewel end up inside Tane? Did someone put it there or something? (hide spoiler)]

I just started back reading this last night, determined to get through it since I’m almost done with classes and finals

Day 2: (view spoiler)[ I’m all for plot and world building, but I wish it would pick up. So Niclays is in trouble now. I’m still confused on how everyone knows each other. I feel like I should be making a map of everyone or taking notes (hide spoiler)]

Shantavia, I hope you will be more into the story when you read on. To be honest, I feel like it picks up a little but it's still kind of slow towards the end.

Day 16 (end of part 5)

I think that in the end (view spoiler)[ all these people are pretty quick to agree to an alliance between east and west. They've hated each other for centuries. I thought it would take more work from Ead and the others to convince everyone. (hide spoiler)]

Too bad the witch (view spoiler)[ got the sword. She seems to be very powerful. I'm not sure how Ead and Tane will be able to fight her and The Nameless One. (hide spoiler)]

I finished this some days ago but completely forgot to write here. I didn't love it but I wasn't bored either. I really liked the world building and found some of the characters quite interesting.

I haven’t, but I’m going to read some more today. I keep thinking of DNFing it, but something is telling me to just keep reading
