I discovered that you can create a group challenge that appears on the home page. It is similar to GRs yearly challenge when you challenge yourself on how many books you'll read this year (and any book marked read counts). You get to choose how many books you'll attempt to read and you pick a shelf to put them on. This is a shelf in your personal "My Books" inventory on GRs. I labeled mine "Spring Challenge". When you shelve a book as read, if you add it to that shelf, then it's counted towards the challenge. I thought it would be fun to try out the new feature and the start of a new season was a great time to try it out.

The thread here is just for anyone who has questions.

Spring is almost here. Let's celebrate with a reading challenge. For a book to qualify for this challenge it has to have something, anything to do with spring, be it on the cover or in the contents of the book. It could take place sometime in the Spring, have flowers in the cover or be about a florist, gardening, Easter, bunnies. You get to decide how many books you want to read and what, to you, qualifies as a spring read. Could just be a new book you bought for a new beginning.

Start Date: March 13, 2019
End Date: June 20, 2019

NOTE: It's entirely up to you if books are all mysteries or not. Also, as you are keeping track of these yourself, you could use this just to track how many books you want to read this spring. It's very flexible.

Thank you, that's a very nice feature (and you can see easily what you have read). I'll try to pay attention to my books (I must confess, I'm a bit... focused on books, usually ;) )
