3000 Rubles in Dmitry's pocket

Hey,

I had a question about The Brothers Karamazov.
Currently, I'm in book viii chapter 5, where Dmitry asks for his pistols from Perkhotin. He has about 3000 Rubles with him. How did he come up with that sum of money?! I remember he only had 10 Rubles in his pocket from pawned pistols! But after living Fenya's place to go to Perkhotin's, he suddenly has 3000 Rubles in his pockets! How?

Please keep in mind I haven't finished the book, so if there are any spoilers, don't give it away!

Well, the provenience of this 3000 rubles (and whether they really are 3000 or less) is discussed a lot, further in the book and it's kinda spoiler-y. If you go on you should find out soon enough.
