Hey all. I'm one of three writers collaborating on a web superhero series called V.I.R.T.U.E. (or Virtue Comics for the collective, it's kind of complicated, you'll see).
Under that one banner we write five different series, each one focusing on a different superhero in our original world. Each series has its own tone, its own direction, and its own cast of characters. But, of course, they're all tied in together through events and relationships.
We've been writing for about a year and a half now, and I'm really proud of what we've managed to create in that time.
Because there's so much content, I'll post links directly to each series.
Benjaman is something of a golden-age parody, but also a character drama about an experienced superhero trying to adapt to the modern world. www.virtue-comics.com/benjaman
Trilby is a dark, Noir-inspired book about a more ambiguous hero coping with brokenness and redemption. www.virtue-comics.com/trilby
The Fae is a more light-hearted comedic story about a magical teenage girl struggling to deal with both mundane and fantastic responsibilities after becoming the bridge between the human and Faerie worlds. www.virtue-comics.com/fae
The White Fobwatch is a story about a time travelling detective as she deals with themes of bereavement and justice. www.virtue-comics.com/fobwatch
Tyresias is a high-fantasy story about a young man who gains fantastic powers from the queen of a parallel world. www.virtue-comics.com/tyresias
We've also written two crossover crises, Dollsday and, more recently, Demongeddon, which has only just finished in the last week. They're both really good places to start reading, as they serve as an introduction to the characters before you start reading their individual series. www.virtue-comics.com/dollsday www.virtue-comics.com/demongeddon (Some of you who use TuesdaySerial.com to promote yourselves might recognise Demongeddon, just like I recognise some of your series)
Jeez, that's a lot of links, isn't it?
I hope you don't feel like I'm spamming. As I'm sure you can all appreciate, I'm just excited about this project, and I want you to understand why.
I'd love for your feedback on any of these series. Not everything will necessarily be to your tastes, but hopefully SOMETHING will be. And regardless of whether you like it or not, I would love to know! I love discussing stuff with readers, and I don't get to do it often enough.

Sorry for the essay. :-)
