Secrets at Midnight—Nalini Singh. A Novella from “Night Shift”, but I think you can get it separately.

(The Ever Chace Chronicles #1)
I just finished a book that meets this theme. It's paranormal-romance/urban fantasy and was a decent enough read. She works with paranormals, but believes she's completely human until the end of the book. It's actually a $0.00 Freebie on Amazon right now too. Bonus!

I was browsing my shelves and remembered a couple more books where the heroine is unaware that she's not human until she meets someone who claims otherwise.

(Ontarian Chronicles #1) -- I liked this whole series fairly well. It's SFR but reads a lot like PNR. This author has a couple freebies on Amazon right now if you want try the author, but they're from a different series, which I also liked (Free titles are "Crusader" and "Royal Obsession").

(VLG #1) -- This is one of my favorite series by the way, it's a more unique take on the standard shifter romance fare.

(The Others #13)

(Legacy #1)
