Read-a-Thon #1 - Halfway Check-In

Being on Team Asia, I moved The Good Women of China: Hidden Voices to the top of my pile, and it was great.
I've got 2 books down--for Vietnam and China (which is a huge chunk of our map).
I've got 2 more books that I want to complete. And I want to figure out the remaining Scrambled Characters.

Work and a bad headache!
What has been your favorite part so far?
Reading (when I can) and contributing to Team Africa.
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon?
I’ve finished 2 books and did well on the weekend.
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon?
Finish 2 more books at least. Work on the individual bingo which is fun too.

No challenges really,
What has been your favorite part so far?
Loved getting more familiar with African countries (and watching our map fill up). An excuse to read more is always good.
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon?
4 books completed and a big dent in a couple more.
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon?
Finish the books I am working on

So far we've had a death in the family and I started a new job just a week ago so I was off to a slow start but things seem to be going a bit better now reading wise.
What has been your favorite part so far?
My favorite part was on Monday when I got to sit down and make an actual plan to finish the Individual Bingo. I do love a good plan.
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon? -
I have read 10 books (870 p.)
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon?
I have 4 more books that I would like to finish but they are all pretty long so it most likely will not happen. I'll keep reading and see what happens though!

Well, been pretty distracted today since I found out my 8 year old got her period last night and she is at her fathers so I can't be there to help her. I did talk to her on the phone for awhile last night and she's holding her own, we've always been open about talking about these things so.... she's fine and I'm a crying emotional mess today LOL. I took a long nap instead of reading my book.
What has been your favorite part so far?
The games and finishing several books towards my challenges
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon?
I have finished 4 books and will be finishing my 5th tonight. Thats the most reading I've done all year!! I think I can finish 2 more by the weekend. I crossed off at least 2 prompts for the ATY challenge and will hopefully cross off 2 more.
WOOT!! Caught up on my yearly GRs challenge 🙌🏻
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon?
Hopefully keep up the pace and have fun doing it.

Work! Well, reading challenge may be more distracting for work than the other way around.
What has been your favorite part so far?
Team challenge. It's been fun to look for books that take place in the countries and the team chatter is fun.
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon?
6 books, should have 2 more soon.
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon?
I want to blackout bingo! I'm telling myself that once I do, I'll ease off a bit for future read-a-thons! Also just read and have fun and one more book that takes place in an African country.

My parents came to visit over the weekend so I got no reading done. Work has been a challenge/distraction, but the biggest challenge is being pregnant and exhausted--usually I get my reading done at night before bed, but now I just fall asleep when I start reading. As a result, I've read only about 30 pages of my ebook.
What has been your favorite part so far?
After seeing everyone on my team (Team Asia) finish many books, I felt really happy and proud when I finished my first one today!
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon?
I listened to an entire audiobook.
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon?
I'm hoping I can finish at least one more book by the end of the week, although finishing two would be even better.

It's been a particularly eventful week at work since we have a massive fundraiser going on today, but otherwise not too many distractions.
What has been your favorite part so far?
I think I've been making great progress on my challenges and reading quite a bit! I also really liked the Synonyms & Antonyms game.
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon?
I've already finished 3 books, with a 4th one likely to be finished tonight.
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon?
Just to keep reading as much as I can! I have another 2-3 books that I'd love to finish by the time the read-a-thon is over, but I'm not sure how realistic that will be.
What challenges and distractions have you faced?
- I haven't faced any yet, but I'm starting to feel guilty about shunning all of my grading and planning to read so... I'll probably have to stop reading all day and starting grading before this break is over.
What has been your favorite part so far?
- I love the daily games, the book cover quilt, and kicking butt at the team challenge!
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon?
- I've read 4 books! That's amazing! (I've also managed to fall behind on ATY, even though I've read four books.. they just haven't been for Week 10...)
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon?
- I definitely want to read Five Feet Apart (due back at the library this weekend) and The Red Tent (my choice for Week 10). I don't know if I'll get through both of them... I'm anticipating The Red Tent taking a few days. But I'm going to try!

Well...I recently found 3 Book Girls Podcast so I've been a bit distracted with that. LOL
What has been your favorite part so far? Picking books from my ATY Challenge list that will work. I sometimes find it hard to choose which book I want to read next from my list.
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon?
I've read 6 books so far. :)
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon? To just keep reading!

What has been your favorite part so far? The games as always :)
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon? Just having fun, because I have not finished with any of the books I am reading yet.
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon? Finish with at least two of the four I am reading.

Just the regular plus 2 days of babysitting my grandson. Also, I found a first cousin of my dad's, whom we had lost contact with since the 60s, and have been emailing back and forth with her. Lastly, I spent one afternoon creating a spreadsheet of the books I plan to read this year and identifying which challenges they fit into and updating my SRC spreadsheet. Spreadsheets are fun and useful but time-consuming!
What has been your favorite part so far?
Reading, of course, and reading everyone's posts!
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon?
Finished 1 mid-grade/YA book, which I had bought recently (several years in advance) for my oldest grandson and almost finished with another.
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon?
Finish 2 more books.

Not many, a bit of flagging motivation here and there, and a hell of a headache this afternoon.
What has been your favorite part so far?
Team Africa!
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon?
I've finished six books, and read from authors from Ghana and Sudan, which I hadn't done before. I'm really happy to have been put on Team Africa, as it encouraged me to branch out.
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon?
I'd like to finish two more books.
